Celebrity Spotlight Series
"Celebrity Spotlight Series," hosted by Ray Bourque, consists of six specials over the course of a year. The series, a collaboration between Moody Street Picturesand Celebrities for Charity, hopes to create insight into the mindset of an athlete’s commitment to charity and an insider’s perspective on all the fun ways they give back to the community. The television series occurs courtesy of Presenting Sponsors Dunkin’ Donutsand TD Banknorth.
Celebrities For Charity was founded by CMI President Cleon Daskalakis and hockey legend Ray Bourque to help involve celebrities in the fundraising efforts of local charities. The foundation arranges celebrity visits to charitable events and provides autographed memorabilia for charities to use as a fundraising tool. Current events coordinated by Celebrity Marketing, Inc. include: Bourque Golf, Jason Varitek Celebrity Putt Putt, Troy Brown Bingo, New England Sand Sculpting Festival and Kevin Faulk Celebrity Softball. Moody Street Pictures is a Waltham-based company that develops feature films/documentaries, television series, commercial productions, video material for corporate clientsand content for web-based media outlets.
