The Bruins Classics Showdown has come down to the finals: Cam Neely scoring his 50th goal versus the Bruins' dramatic come-from-behind playoff victory at the Garden in the 2008 playoffs against Montreal.

Neely, one of the great Bruins of all time, was slowed down by knee and hip injuries in 1994 — sort of. Despite playing in just his 44th game of the season in March, Neely netted his 49th and 50th goals of the season against Washington. In doing so, Neely joined Wayne Gretzky and Mario Lemieux as the fastest players to reach the 50-goal mark in a season.
Fourteen years later, a rejuvenated Bruins team was hanging tough against a No. 1-ranked Canadiens club. The Bruins had fallen behind in the first-round playoff series three games to one before winning Game 5 in Montreal to send the series back to Boston.
The B's overcame three one-goal deficits to stay alive in Game 6 before Marco Sturm broke a 4-4 tie with the game-winner with just 2:37 left in the game. The raucous atmosphere at the Garden was reminiscent of days at the old barn on Causeway Street, and NESN's play-by-play announcer Jack Edwards captured the moment with the memorable line, "This building is vibrating."
