Ice Chips: Digging Into Last Weekend's Numbers With Hockey East conference play just starting to heat up, let’s go inside the numbers. Here are a few tidbits to get us started:

43 — Saves Northeastern’s Chris Rawlings made in his first career shutout on Friday over Boston University. The Huskies freshman is 3-4-0 with a 2.87 goals-against average in seven starts this season.
 
5 — Years BU had gone without being shut out on the road until Friday at Northeastern. The shutout was the Terriers’ second in their last five games — they were blanked by Notre Dame on Oct. 20 for the first time in 100 games.
 
53 — Seconds left when New Hampshire’s Bobby Butler tied Friday’s game against Boston College with his league-leading sixth goal. The Wildcats scored three goals in the third period to come back and steal a point from the Eagles.

227 — Miles from Vermont’s Gutterson Fieldhouse to Kelley Rink for this week’s Matchup of the Week. The Catamounts have not won at BC since Nov. 11, 1994.
