Marco Sturm's Overtime Goal in Winter Classic Earns Him Arbella Player of the Week After the Bruins scored the game-winning goal 1:57 into overtime of the Winter Classic, most Bruins fans were left speechless after witnessing the perfect end to the perfect event at Fenway Park.

The man responsible for that moment was Marco Sturm, who capped off a fantastic week with a tip-in goal on the Fenway ice. The goal was Sturm's fourth in four games, earning him Arbella Player of the Week honors.

The game-winner at Fenway was thanks largely to Sturm's teammate Patrice Bergeron, who gave Sturm a perfect feed in front of the Flyers' net. Sturm did the rest, redirecting the puck past goaltender Michael Leighton and sending the packed house at Fenway Park into an absolute frenzy.

Sturm got his impressive week started on Sunday, when he also scored the game-winning goal. This one came early in the third period as the Bruins beat the Panthers 2-1 in Florida. The next day, Sturm was the only Bruin who could find the net in a 2-1 loss at Tampa Bay.

Then, on Wednesday, Sturm contributed to a 4-0 blowout of the Thrashers in the B's final tuneup before the big game on New Year's Day.

Sturm sent the Bruins and their fans home happy, capping off one of the most memorable events in Boston hockey history.
