It took a while, but in the end, the Bruins were able to grind out a win against the Flyers in the 2010 Winter Classic at Fenway Park. It was a picture-perfect ending to a picture-perfect day.
“It doesn’t matter how much you’re hearing about it, it doesn’t matter how much you’re reading about it — it’s totally different every time,” Bruins captain Zdeno Chara said of the experience of playing in the Winter Classic. “It was a special day today.”
