The Red Sox announced Wednesday that this year’s Futures at Fenway event will take place on Saturday, July 10.
Fans will get to see many of the organization’s top prospects in doubleheader action, when the Class A Lowell Spinners take on the Jamestown Jammers (affiliate of the Florida Marlins) at 12:05 p.m., followed by the Class A Salem Red Sox hosting the Potomac Nationals (affiliate of the Washington Nationals).
Futures at Fenway has been an extremely popular event during the past few years, drawing capacity crowds to America’s most beloved ballpark from 2006 to 2009. Ticket prices start as low as $5 for bleacher seats, with seating also available on the Green Monster and in the dugout for just $30.
Kids attending Futures at Fenway will enjoy special events, including mascot races, and other on-field activities. Autograph sessions will also be held in the big concourse, where fans will be able to meet some of the Red Sox' future stars.
Season ticket holders and Red Sox Nation members will have the first opportunity to purchase tickets before they go on sale to the general public on Saturday, Feb. 13, at 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased at redsox.com or by calling (877) REDSOX-9.
