The Bruins clinched a playoff berth with their 4-2 win over the Carolina Hurricanes at the TD Garden on Saturday. Perhaps no one was more excited than NESN’s Jack Edwards.
“The Boston Bruins never lost their faith,” Edwards said in the closing seconds of Saturday’s game.
The B’s will make their third straight playoff appearance, and Edwards recognizes that this year’s playoff berth is well-deserved.
“The 2010 Boston Bruins have been to hockey hell, where they have earned themselves the snowball’s chance to play for the Stanley Cup,” Edwards said.
