The Celtics may be getting some elbow room when they take on LeBron James and the Cavaliers in the upcoming second round of the playoffs.

King James' elbow injury will be evaluated on Wednesday or Thursday, according to a team spokesman. The Cavs, who took a day off on Wednesday and will take on the C's starting this Saturday, will provide an update on James after the evaluation. James will get an extra day of rest before the next round of the NBA playoffs after the Cavaliers decided not to practice Wednesday.

James lost feeling in the elbow after banging it late in Tuesday night's clinching win over the Chicago Bulls. He missed a left-handed free throw with 7.8 seconds left and left the court clutching his elbow. After the game, James revealed that he underwent an MRI exam Monday that showed no structural damage.
