Mascot Dances His Way Off Dugout During Exhibition Game

So you think you can dance? Well, you better make sure before you try bustin’ a move on top of a dugout.

The University of Nevada’s mascot, Wolfie, learned that the hard way during an exhibition game between the Wolfpack and the Reno Aces, the Triple-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Wolfie and Archie — the friendly red blob “born in the mountains that surround Reno” that is the Aces’ mascot — were dancing on the roof of the Nevada dugout when things went horribly wrong.

Wolfie executed his jig with precision, but had less luck with his attempted moonwalk. Soon after the mascot broke out his best Michael Jackson impersonation, he ran out of the room atop the dugout and proceeded to fall off the edge.

Archie saw Wolfie’s approaching plunge and rushed over to stop the fall, his large, unblinking eyes appearing to take on a look of frantic desperation as his compatriot fell from the dugout roof and into the dugout below.

The fall didn’t seem to deter Archie from continuing to pump up the crowd, as he incited cheers from fans after looking down to check on the status of his fallen dance partner.
