Rasheed Wallace Keeps Dwight Howard at Bay in Celtics’ Game 1 Win

Rasheed Wallace Keeps Dwight Howard at Bay in Celtics' Game 1 Win After the Celtics’ defeat of the Magic in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals, Dana Barros stopped by SportsDesk to give his take on the team.

Barros had nothing but glowing things to say about Rasheed Wallace, who was instrumental in defeating Dwight Howard on defense.

“Contrary to what many people believe,” Barros said, “This guy not only was a great player, but he still has a great basketball mind.

“He kept [Howard] off-balance all night.”

For the Magic to come back and start winning some games, Barros says, “You want to see him get the ball inside that half-circle where he can turn and dunk and not really have to fight Kendrick Perkins.”

All told, Barros still likes the Celtics in six — as long as Boston can hold the Magic to 85-90 points.
