After His NBA Draft Suit, Wesley Johnson Can Use New Paycheck to Hire Stylist

After His NBA Draft Suit, Wesley Johnson Can Use New Paycheck to Hire Stylist It was the biggest day in Wesley Johnson's life, and this is a guy who starred on the Syracuse basketball team and played in the Sweet 16 this year.

And he wore that?

The former Orange forward took the stage when he heard his name called after the Minnesota Timberwolves selected him No. 4 overall pick in one of the oddest ensembles ever seen — thrown in the "Draft Losers" pile — at the formal NBA Draft event. His Scottish plaid pants may as well have come with a bagpipe melody, and his jacket — complete with at least eight brass buttons (we're still counting) — only served to hide the glare of a sunshine yellow shirt.

It's clear that Johnson has no qualms about separating himself from the crowd. That's good, because Minnesota is going to need Johnson to stand out — in more than just his wardrobe choices.

Quote of the Day

"I’m not much of a home run hitter. I hit a lot of line drives in the
gap, if they go out they go out."
–Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia on his three-homer game against Colorado on Thursday night

Comment of the Day

It seems one Red Sox fan knew Boston was in for a good month of June. The prediction is scary good.

"If you could only read my posts from May 31. I predicted the Sox to be
at 46 – 48 wins and playing TB for first place during the last two games
of the month. Hmmm??"
