NESN.com's James Murphy is reporting that the Bruins have re-signed veteran winger Mark Recchi to a one-year deal.

The deal is reportedly at the same $1 million price tag as his last contract, but will have significant games-played bonuses.

"Rex was a terrific player for us," Bruins GM Peter Chiarelli told NESN.com's James Murphy. "He helped our group leadership wise.
He's a Hall of Famer-to-be. We're glad to have him back."

Recchi, who was acquired by the Bruins at the 2009 trading deadline, is among the active leaders in goals with 563 over his 21-year career. Last season for the B's, Recchi had 18 goals and 25 assists playing in all but one of the Bruins' regular season games. In the playoffs, he was among the team leaders in goals with six.

The deal will reportedly be officially announced Monday.
