Saints Earn Top Spot While Patriots Trail Jets in Madden NFL 11 Team Rating

The Patriots are ranked No. 8 in the highly-anticipated Madden NFL 11 video game by EA Sports, according to gamespot.com.

The Super Bowl champion Saints (92) took the top spot followed by the Colts (91), Ravens (90), Jets (89), Vikings (88), Packers and Cowboys (87) and finally, the Patriots, tied with the Bengals, are ranked No. 8 with 86 points.

At the bottom of the pile are the Rams (66), Bills (67) and Lions (68).

While these seedings are meaningless for the real NFL heading into the 2010 season, it's never too early to spark up gridiron debates — even if it involves digital players created by a Canadian corporation.
