According to Salem radio broadcaster Evan Lepler, Huntzinger throws a lot of strikes, relying heavily on his two-seam fastball and offspeed stuff.

1:40 p.m.: The Fenway faithful are going to get a treat during the Salem-Potomac game.
Salem right-hander Brock Huntzinger will oppose Potomac righty Brad Peacock in the second game of the Futures at Fenway series.
Huntzinger is 6-4 with a 3.49 ERA for Salem this year. The 22 year-old was picked by the Red Sox in the third round of the 2007 MLB draft.

They all played for what is now known as the Salem Red Sox in the Carolina League.
Bought by the Fenway Sports Group in December 2007, Salem had many big league affiliations in its tenure before being part of the Red Sox organization.
On Saturday afternoon, these future stars will get a crack at playing on the big-boy field, as the Salem Red Sox take on the Potomac Nationals in Game 2 of the "Futures at Fenway" series.
One player to keep an eye on is fireballer Stolmy Pimentel. A Dominican right-hander who the Red Sox signed as a 16-year-old international free agent in July 2006, Pimentel was the only Red Sox minor leaguer selected to the MLB XM Futures All-Star Game on July 11 at Angel Stadium.
