Colts to Wear Throwback Jerseys in Preseason Opener

The Indianapolis Colts will be going old school in the 2010 preseason.

According to Yahoo Sports, the Colts will be wearing their 1955 throwback uniforms in the team’s preseason opener against the San Francisco 49ers.

"Our uniform design has changed little through the decades and is among the most recognizable in all of sports," Colts owner Jim Irsay told Yahoo. "This is a chance for our fans to see a Colts uniform with a different twist, in a classic throwback at Lucas Oil Stadium."

In 1955, the Baltimore Colts went 5-6-1, almost 30 years before the team moved to Indianapolis.
