More Injuries Shuffle Red Sox Lineup in Game Against Toronto

With third baseman Adrian Beltre unable to go, the Red Sox have shuffled their lineup for the series finale against the Toronto Blue Jays on Sunday.

Beltre rolled over his left wrist on a dive in the field Saturday night. He was able to stay in the game but came to the park sore Sunday morning and was sent to Massachusetts General Hospital for tests.

The team waited until Beltre returned to release a lineup, but the team's leader in games played was unable to start. Rookie Yamaico Navarro gets the nod at third and will bat ninth.

It's a case of bad timing for Boston — Beltre is 9-for-23 with three home runs and nine RBIs in his career off Blue Jays starter Shaun Marcum.

Marco Scutaro, who is second on the team in games played, is also out. Bill Hall will play Scutaro's new regular position of second base while Jed Lowrie gets another start at shortstop.

Hall is 3-for-4 with three home runs and five RBIs off Marcum.

Ryan Kalish will bat second for the second time in his short career. The first time he did so two Fridays ago in Oakland he was robbed of a home run in his first at-bat.

With Jon Lester on the hill for Boston, here are the complete lineups for both teams:

Red Sox
Ryan Kalish, CF
J.D. Drew, RF
Victor Martinez, C
David Ortiz, DH
Mike Lowell, 1B
Jed Lowrie, SS
Bill Hall, 2B
Daniel Nava, LF

Blue Jays

Yunel Escobar, SS
Jose Bautista, RF
Vernon Wells, CF
Lyle Overbay, 1B
John Buck, C
Edwin Encarnacion, 3B
J.P. Arencibia, DH
