For Horton, who came over in an offseason trade with the Florida Panthers, he continues to be excited about the chance to play with a group of established veterans and have a chance to contend for a Stanley Cup.
“[We] finally started, getting down to business,” Horton told NESN’s Naoko Funayama. “It was just nice to be on the ice and be playing with the guys again … [I] couldn’t be happier to do it with a great bunch of guys, great bunch of teammates.”
Shawn Thornton and Zdeno Chara also spoke about what Horton brings to the Bruins both as a player and as a teammate.
