Bye-bye, Boras.
That's what Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez has recently said to agent Scott Boras, accoring to a report by Bob Nightengale of USA Today. The report claims that A-Rod has fired Boras and is now being represented by Pittsburgh attorney Jay Reisinger.
Resinger and A-Rod have a little history, as it was Resinger who represented Rodriguez during his admission to using steroids. The lawyer is also part of the legal team that represented Sammy Sosa and Andy Pettitte in their trials with Congress regarding PEDs.
Boras negotiated A-Rod's current record-setting 10-year, $275 million contract with the New York Yankees.
