Imagine for a second a sold-out Fenway Park crowd, but instead of people, each seat was occupied a book.
That would equal an astounding 39,605 books. That number, is how many books the students at Summer Street School in Lynfield, Mass., have read in the past year.
For their efforts, the elementrary school students were visited by Red Sox owner John Henry, his wife Linda Pizzuti and Red Sox first baseman Kevin Youkilis on Tuesday.
"It's unbelievable, it's really a phenomenal thing," Youkiils said on Tuesday's episode of NESN Daily.
