Patrick Chung, Brandon Tate Come to Play on Big Stage of Monday Night Football For awhile Monday night, it looked like the Patriots were going to be in a rock fight with the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football. That was, of course, until the special teams unit took over.

Brandon Tate had a 103-yard kickoff return for a touchdown and Patrick Chung blocked a punt and a field goal as the Patriots walloped the Dolphins 41-14 on Monday night in front of a primetime audience.

Tate got the second half off to a good start for the Pats when he returned the opening kick of the second half from his own endzone for the momentum-shifting touchdown.

Moments later, Chung blocked a punt that would lead to a BenJarvus Green-Ellis 12-yard touchdown run. For good measure, Chung blocked a Dan Carpenter field goal in the fourth quarter that Kyle Arrington scooped up and took 35 yards for a touchdown, essentially sealing a New England win.

The win will likely resonate as a loud statement across the AFC and across the league as the Patriots came out after hearing all week that they stood no chance going to Miami.
