Rory McIlroy Takes Jägermeister Shots From Ryder Cup, Tiger Woods Dominates in Ping Pong It didn’t surprise anybody when Ron Artest went out partying all night in his jersey after winning his first title.

That’s just how NBA players (and particularly Artest) roll.

You don’t necessarily expect that kind of raging out of golfers, unless, of course, they’re 21-year-old Irishmen.

Rory McIlroy may have begun his Ryder Cup celebration by crushing champagne out of the bottle while his teammates sprayed it on him, but it surely didn’t end there. McIlroy made use of the his trophy for what it is — a cup — on what was clearly a long night of partying.

“What a week!! Think I’m still drunk! Jaegerbombs out of the Ryder cup! Great banter with euros and Americans last night!” he tweeted Tuesday morning.

The party apparently turned into a ping pong match at some point in the night, and the Americans got their revenge as Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson apparently dominated the competition on the table.

Woods’ golf game did look back on track this past weekend in Wales, but if that was a fluke, at least he has another sport to fall back on.

McIlroy may have earlier said that the event was just an exhibition, and Woods barely made the team, but it sure turned out to be worth the trip for both.

Comment of the Day

Apparently, stabbing rival fans isn’t cool.

“I know the Sox and Yankees are rivals, but THAT is going WAY too far. I don’t care if the guy that got hurt is a fan of the BoSox or the Pinstripes. It’s stupid to do what the Yankee fan did, end of story, no questions asked. Hope the Sox fan gets better.”
