Test Your Knowledge of the Patriots-Chargers Rivalry The Patriots beat the Chargers on Sunday afternoon to improve to 5-1 on the season and to finish the latest chapter in a rivalry that stems back quite some time.

The Patriots and Chargers have met on a couple of occasisons in the playoffs recently, but their rivalry is one that dates back 50 years. Going all the way back to their time in the AFL, the Patriots and Chargers have been meeting up.

Sunday marked the 38th overall meeting between the two teams in a rivalry that is actually pretty even despite New England's recent playoff domination of the Bolts. The win on Sunday gave the Patriots a 21-15-2 record overall against the Chargers. That record includes two recent playoff wins for the Pats in the 2007 divisional round and the 2008 AFC Championship.

The Pats and Chargers tangled in San Diego on Sunday at Qualcomm Stadium. In the 50 years of the rivalry, the two teams have clashed in 10 different venues. The latest of those, of course, being Qualcomm and New England's Gillette Stadium. But, do you know where the first meeting took place?
