Years after his last career fight, boxer Mike Tyson found a new career outside the ring when he had a cameo in The Hangover. Now, the former heavyweight champ wants to reach an audience through food.

According to the New York Post, Tyson and businessman Moshe Malamud of the Franklin Mint are planning to start a high-end restaurant chain.

While many athletes open steakhouses or pubs, Tyson has no interest in mainstream grub.

With Malamud, Tyson is interested in starting a kosher restaurant. The pair dined with Tyson’s pregnant wife, Lakiha Spicer, at Solo, a kosher Asian-fusion restaurant on Madison Avenue in midtown Manhattan. Tyson enjoyed a bowl of mushroom soup with mixed vegetables.

Tyson and Malamud have set the wheels in motion, but the restaurant still has a ways to go.

“They discussed the concept as well as the name, but nothing was finalized,” a representative for Solo told the Post.

Tyson is expected to make another cameo in the upcoming sequel to The Hangover, and is seemingly moving past his troubled past.
