Let the bullpen rebuilding begin.

According to a report by MLB.com, the Red Sox and the Marlins have exchanged left-handed pitchers, sending Dustin Richardson to Florida in a trade for Andrew Miller.

Miller went 1-5 in nine games with the Marlins last season. He posted an 8.54 ERA in that stretch, where he also earned seven starts. The 25-year-old lefty was the sixth draft pick by the Tigers in 2006, and holds a 15-26 career record from the mound.

Richardson split his time between Pawtucket and Boston last season, and posted a 4.16 ERA up with the big club. He pitched 13 innings in 26 appearances for the Red Sox in 2010.

Miller finds a familiar face in the Red Sox' dugout, as he and reliever Daniel Bard were teammates at the University of North Carolina from 2004-06.
