The Four's: Which Former Bruin Served as Captain Between Ray Bourque and Joe Thornton? Not surprisingly, the list of Boston Bruins captains holds on it some of hockey's all-time greats.

While Zdeno Chara leads the B's today, players like Lionel Hitchman, Milt Schmidt, Johnny Bucyk and Terry O'Reilly have all donned the "C" for the black and gold long before him.

And of course, perhaps the greatest Bruin captain of all-time, Ray Bourque was one of the more recent Boston captains. Not too long after Bourque was traded to the Avalanche, the Bruins thought they were passing along the reigns to a young phenom.

That phenom, of course, was the 1997 No. 1 pick Joe Thornton. "Jumbo Joe" was named captain in 2002, a spot he held until he was eventually dealt to the San Jose Sharks in 2005.

The Four's Trivia Question of the Day for Saturday, has to do with another Bruins' captain, however. Which former Bruin served as captain between Ray Bourque and Joe Thornton?

Find the answer here.

For every NESN televised Bruins home game this season, NESN and The Four's will be teaming up to offer B's fans the chance at winning a $50 gift card to The Four's Restaurant and Sports Bar by simply answering a trivia question found at NESN.com/thefours. Questions will be posted at noon every afternoon on the day of a Bruins home game, unless otherwise noted.
