Maybe, just maybe, the New York Jets are getting desperate.

That certainly seemed to be the case on Sunday afternoon Jets strength and conditioning coach Sal Alosi tripped Dolphins defensive back Nolan Carroll from the sideline during the two teams' meeting at the Meadowlands.

Carroll was on punt coverage when he was pushed onto the Jets' sideline, when Alosi appeared to stick out his knee and trip Carroll. It didn't make much of a difference in the end, though, as the Jets dropped a 10-6 decision to the Fins.
