Even though the Red Sox' roster was stricken with injuries in 2010, there were plenty of bright moments throughout the season.
Red Sox fans were polled last week to determine which 2010 moment was their favorite, and the fan base overwhelmingly chose Mike Lowell's home run on Aug. 3. Striking the first pitch he had seen since June 22 following a tumultuous month of trade rumors, Lowell blasted a two-run shot over the Green Monster, leaving the sellout crowd on their feet for several minutes.
Lowell called the home run "one of the more special moments of his career," and it's clear Red Sox fans agree with him.
