One of the reasons professional athletes and coaches get paid so much money is because of the physical demands that a season entails. Sometimes, though, those long, often-monotonous seasons can take their toll. And when that happens, it's not rare to see tempers boil over.

Sometimes, there are spats with teammates. Other times, it's the opposing team. The officials are often on the receiving end of some good verbal lashings (sometimes even physical ones, too) and then there's always everyone's favorite target — the media.
