Alex Rodriguez Reportedly 'Went Ballistic' Over Super Bowl Live Shot of Cameron Diaz Feeding Him Popcorn Alex Rodriguez is apparently furious that the live shot of girlfriend Cameron Diaz feeding him popcorn aired during Super Bowl XLV on Sunday.

According to Bill Zwecker of the Chicago Sun Times, Rodriguez complained to Fox executives after he found out that the entire Super Bowl audience caught a glimpse of the couple’s affectionate moment.

“He really went ballistic — thinking the cameraman was out to get them in a paparazzi-like shot,” a source told Zwecker.

According to Zwecker, Rodriguez believes the Fox cameraman was singling him out on purpose.

“Anyone who knows anything about producing a live sports event — especially something as huge as the Super Bowl — would know that those celebrity shots are purely random. A-Rod, of all people, should know that,” Zwecker’s source said.

There is no doubt that paparazzi and cameramen alike can be annoying, aggressive, and determined to expose the lives of the rich and famous. However, it is hard to feel any sympathy for a man with one of the most famous faces in professional baseball being fed popcorn by his movie star girlfriend at the biggest sporting event of the year. By the way, a record breaking 111 million households watched Super Bowl XLV.

The Super Bowl attracts many celebrities every year, and most of them end up on camera throughout the game. Anyone who has ever watched the game knows that.

Maybe next time A-Rod will think twice about his public displays of affection.
