Ben Roethlisberger Caught Drinking, 'Singing His Face Off' at Dallas Piano Bar Some quarterbacks prepare for the Super Bowl by studying film and taking extra reps at practice. Others like to stay out late, get hammered and sing their faces off just days before the big game.

A report from TMZ — fortunately, for Steelers fans, not a police report — indicates that Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was partying at a piano bar, “singing his face off” till the wee hours of the night on Wednesday evening.

A source tells TMZ that Big Ben picked up the bar’s tab of $800 and tossed in an extra $200 tip.

Quote of the day

“I think if they lock us out, they’ll lose a lot of fans. To be honest, it’s not going to kill us. It’s going to kill those people that rely on that year-in and year-out seasonal income, those bars and restaurants, mom-and-pop shops.”
–James Harrison, on what he believes will happen if there’s a lockout next season.

Brace yourself for more white stuff, Bostonians. And in the meantime, get really, really mad at this reader.

“blizzard of ’78 anyone? I also lived in Tahoe for a few years where it was not uncommon to have a storm drop 24 inches in less than 24 hours. Are Bostonians becoming whiny about snow? As I recall, snowy days are much warmer than those clear frigid ones where being outside for 15 minutes would leave you frost-bitten for days. Of course, I live on the Cali coast now, so i am a bit of a wuss myself- don’t miss the shoveling, and love the 70 degree days in january.”
