The possibility remains that the Cardinals could trade wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald — if and when the labor situation situates itself — and that news should be enticing for teams that are looking to make an upgrade at the position.
Hey, even if they’re not looking to make an upgrade, there’s no doubt that Fitzgerald would improve any offense in the NFL. The 6-foot-3, 218-pounder will turn 28 prior to the start of the 2011 season, and he’s working off four consecutive years with at least 90 catches and 1,000 yards.
Plus, Fitzgerald has always built the reputation of being one of the best human beings in the NFL, and he’s currently in Israel learning more about his religion. He’s the type of guy who makes teams better and owners happy.
So, if Fitzgerald were traded, let’s try to measure what a prospective team would be getting.
