Chiarelli primarily focused on the importance of new defenseman Tomas Kaberle, but also spoke highly of new forwards Chris Kelly and Rich Peverley.
Chiarelli also talked about the new dynamic of the powerplay with Kaberle, touting its effectiveness against Ottawa.
