Second Annual New England Pond Hockey Classic Still a Big Hit

There was a wait list of about 100 teams at one point for those trying to enter the New England Pond Hockey Classic. The tournament, which had 177 teams in its inaugural year, is still a sensation for people all over the country.

Before the February 4-6 tournament, 14 rinks were made atop of Lake Winnipesaukee in Meredith, N. H. Founder Scott Gowder and his crew set up this tournament for 162 teams to participate in this year.

There is no better venue or location for the tournament to be played, look above at the video to see why amd what the participants thought.
