While expectations were high for the Bruins entering the 2010-11 season, much of the team's success has come from unexpected places. Though Adam McQuaid isn't filling up the scoresheet, his contributions have been tough to deny, and they've certainly been welcomed.
McQuaid's physical play has been embraced by Bruins fans this season. Kathryn Tappen asked McQuaid about his tendency to drop the gloves, seeing if the young defenseman if he's gotten any pointers when it comes to fighting from resident tough guy Shawn Thornton. McQuaid is, after all, second in penalty minutes on the team to only Thornton.
