The fun has officially begun down in Florida.

While much of Red Sox Nation eagerly anticipates temperatures that may reach the mid-40s this week, the Red Sox — at least pitchers and catchers — have finally reported to spring training.

It’s time to get the show on the road, and while New England can hardly wait for Opening Day on April 1, they’ll have to settle for now fielding drills, bullpen sessions, batting practice and eventually Grapefruit League games to tide them over.
