Tiger Woods Fined for Spitting on Green in Dubai

Sports are funny in that something completely acceptable on one field of play is considered disgusting and improper on another. Perhaps Tiger Woods should have pursued baseball.

The world's third-ranked golfer had a frustrating Sunday, shooting a 3-over 75 on Sunday to fall out of contention at the Dubai Desert Classic. He relieved some of that frustration by hocking a fairly nasty loogie on the 12th green. Watch it below, if you really want to.

The European Tour doesn't like when golfers spit on the greens, and as a result, Woods has been fined an "undisclosed amount," according to CNN.

"The tournament director, Mike Stewart, feels there has been a breach of the Tour Code of Conduct and consequently Tiger Woods will be fined," a European Tour spokesman told CNN.
