Brandon Meriweather's lawyer, Adam Swickle, insisted on Thursday afternoon there have been no allegations against his client, especially from law enforcement.

Meriweather has not been charged or arrested, but the Orange County Sheriff's Office would like to interview him as part of the investigation. Swickle will try to facilitate that request, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Swickle is still investigating the incident, and he didn't want to divulge any more information because he didn't want to interfere with the police investigation.

Swickle represented Jets wide receiver Santonio Holmes last year when he was accused of throwing a glass at a woman in an Orlando nightclub. Charges were never filed against Holmes.
