Heidi Watney Joins David Ortiz and Son D’Angelo on Alligator Tour of Florida Everglades (Photos)

On Saturday, Boston Red Sox designated hitter David Ortiz took a break from spring break training to take an airboat tour in the Florida Everglades with his 6-year-old son, D’Angelo, along with NESN’s Heidi Watney and Chris Del Dotto.

About an hour’s drive from Fort Myers, Everglades Private Airboat Tours took them through the swampland, home to numerous species of wildlife, including alligators, panthers, snakes, fish, and birds.
