Brad Marchand's hit on R.J. Umberger on Tuesday night went largely unnoticed or was quickly forgotten by those watching the game, but the NHL took notice.

The league will hold a disciplinary hearing with Marchand on Thursday morning, according to ESPN's Pierre LeBrun.

Marchand could be looking at a suspension, as his contact with Umberger was made from the blind side and was to the head.
