Report: Tampa Bay Buccaneers Leading Candidate to Be Featured Next on HBO's 'Hard Knocks' One team you can cross off the list of potential targets for HBO's popular Hard Knocks series is Bill Belichick's New England Patriots, but not every team has such stringent rules when it comes to talking on camera.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are atop the list of candidates to be featured in the popular HBO series Hard Knocks this summer, reports ESPN.com.

The series features a different NFL team each summer, following the coaches, management and players throughout training camp getting up close and personal. Last season's series featured the New York Jets.

ESPN.com is reporting that members of the Buccaneers and HBO "have had talks about this season's version. However, no deal has been finalized and players are currently locked out in a labor dispute."

The New Orleans Saints, Oakland Raiders and four other teams are also in consideration for the series, according to the report.
