Bruins Add Thrilling Chapter to Rivalry With Canadiens After Overtime Win in Game 7 (Photos) The Bruins finally made it over the Game 7 hump with a dramatic victory over the Canadiens on Wednesday.

Anyone watching the game would tell you that this game had everything: a few good hits, thrilling goals and great goaltending at both ends of the ice.

The Bruins jumped out to an early lead in the first period, but the Habs fought back, creating an intense back-and-forth battle throughout the matchup, leading to another overtime thriller.

Luck was on the Bruins’ side in this one, as a deflection off a defenseman’s skate gave Nathan Horton and the B’s the Game 7 and series victory just five minutes into the first overtime period.

So after all the drama and all the overtimes, the Bruins made it out of the first round and now have a second-round date with the Philadelphia Flyers. Check out all the excitement from Game 7 at the photo gallery link below.
