Manny Pacquiano Picks ‘Glee’ Cast Member Charice Pempengco to Sing Anthem at May 7 Fight

Manny Pacquiano and Shane Mosley will be squaring off in Las Vegas in just a couple of weeks, and Pacquiao has hand-picked the performer of his national anthem.

Charice Pempengco, a star on FOX's hit show Glee, will give her rendition prior to the May 7 bout.

According to STATS.com, the singer "tweeted Tuesday that she feels 'really blessed' for the opportunity." The native Filipino is a recording artist and actress known by her first name and was first discovered on YouTube by Oprah Winfrey.
