There were probably of plenty of people within the New Orleans Saints' organization thrilled to get Mark Ingram in the first round of the NFL draft. For Reggie Bush, it apparently means the end of the road in The Big Easy.
The incumbent running back took to Twitter late Thursday night soon after the first round of the draft ended, and made his feelings known about what the Ingram pick means to him.
"It's been fun New Orleans," the tweet read.
New Orleans head coach Sean Payton told The Times Picayune earlier in the week that he wants Bush to return to for the 2011 season.
That said, it was assumed by many that Bush would not be returning to the Saints in 2011, and the Ingram pick and Bush's subsequent tweet make that pretty apparent.
The Saints were able to grab Ingram with the No. 28 pick in the first round after they acquired the pick from the Patriots in exchange for New Orleans' second-round pick on Friday, as well as a first-round pick in next year's draft.
