With goalkeeper Pepe Reina slated to return for next season, talking about some big summer deals, Liverpool fans have a lot to be excited about.
According to talkSPORT, Liverpool could be looking to bid for Napoli striker Ezequiel Lavezzi. Lavezzi's agent, Jose Alberti, said that due to their persistence, the Reds have a good chance of landing the star forward over the summer.
"Lavezzi has been followed by Liverpool for 12 months and they could make a bid for his services," Alberti said.
In his career with Napoli, Lavezzi has 35 goals in 122 games. Alberti added that the club would take a big hit by letting the 25-year-old Argentinean slip away to Anfield.
