Jalen Rose's inflammatory "Uncle Tom" comments continue to anger former Duke basketball players.

Thomas Hill, a member of Duke's 1991 and 1992 national championship teams, fired back at Rose after watching ESPN's Fab Five documentary, during which Rose was quoted saying that Duke "only recruited black players who were Uncle Toms … Schools like Duke didn't recruit players like me."

According to the Star-Telegram, Hill watched the Fab Five documentary nearly 10 times, and each time he found himself thinking the same thing.

"What I'm taking from what [Rose] said is that he was jealous of us," Hill said. "It sounds to me like he wishes he was recruited by Duke. I strongly believe that."

When asked about the Uncle Tom comment itself, Hill said that "those comments were just pure ignorant."

Hill also took issue with some other facts in the documentary, primarily former Wolverine Jimmy King's statements about living in the inner city.

"The comment Jimmy King said about him being from the inner city, it's misleading, it's fraudulent," Hill said. "It's like he's living a lie."

Hill isn't the first Duke alumnus to take issue with Rose's comments, as Grant Hill also quickly defended his alma mater in an open letter to The New York Times in March.
