Patriots head coach Bill Belichick will forever be linked with one particular quarterback, and that's three-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady.
But Drew Bledsoe was Belichick's first quarterback during his tenure as the lead man in New England, and Belichick made sure to recognize Bledsoe on Monday, when he was elected to the Patriots Hall of Fame.
"I congratulate Drew on this most deserving honor," Belichick said in a statement. "For his production at the quarterback position and his professionalism for nearly a decade, Drew was instrumental in helping put this franchise back on the map. His induction will be an appropriate celebration of an outstanding career."
