Dustin Pedroia slipped rounding second base on Monday night against the Indians and was forced to leave the game. He limped off the field gingerly, but he said after the game that he was just trying to get the feeling back after his leg went numb.
Pedroia, of course, had his left foot surgically repaired after breaking it last year. Red Sox manager Terry Francona said that Pedroia was likely going to to receive a day off on Tuesday anyway because of a day game scheduled for Wednesday.
