The last time the Red Sox traveled to Cleveland, they left with an 0-6 record after being swept by the Indians. A lot has changed since that dismal start for the Sox, though.
The Red Sox are 25-15 since falling to 0-6, scoring 4.83 runs per game and compiling a 3.80 team ERA. Many players have stepped up in order to right the Red Sox’ ship this season, including Adrian Gonzalez, David Ortiz and Kevin Youkilis. Even the catching tandem of Jarrod Saltalamacchia and Jason Varitek have performed better in the last few games.
To hear what Tom Caron and Dennis Eckersley had to say about the Sox’ recent surge, check out the video above from Red Sox Gameday Live Presented by UNO.
