Register to Run in 2011 Run to Home Base Crossing any finish line after running a race is an incredible feeling, but the feeling is even better when that finish line is home plate at Fenway Park.

Registration is now open for the 2011 Run to Home Base 9K presented by New Balance. The exclusive race raises funds and awareness for servicemen and women who have served America.

The race kicks off at 8 a.m. on May 22 with the starting point on the famous Yawkey Way. The 5.5 mile course runs through the city of Boston into Fenway Park Gate C, where competitors will race toward the home plate finish line.

The Run to Home Base 9K is open to runners 16 years and older, and, once registered, a personal fundraising page will be created in the competitor's name. Once the page is established, participants can add photos and videos and their own story to help raise funds for their cause.

Full-time active military members are also welcome to register for the race and can do so without any fundraising requirement.
