The fate of the 2011 football season isn’t yet known, but that hasn’t prevented NFL cheerleading tryouts from being held.

The Raiderettes, the Oakland Raiders’ cheer squad, held tryouts in April. Among the hundreds of applicants vying for a spot on the team was contestant No. 89, Bianca La Russa, daughter of St. Louis Cardinals manager, Tony La Russa.

Bianca Tai, as she is known on Twitter, made it through preliminary auditions earlier in the week, memorized a dance routine and then performed in the final round against incumbent Raiderettes.

The result of her audition?

“A goal and a dream come true- I’m a 2011 Raiderette! I’m so excited to rep an organization that does so much good. #oaklandraiders @RAIDERS,” Bianca tweeted on April 19.

Check out some photos of the happy Raiderettes below.
